Ballarat Excavation and transport (BEAT) is a progressive and growing family-owned business that provides civil construction and transport requirement throughout Ballarat and surrounding districts. BEAT was established in 2012 by Graeme and Jennifer Butson and has been servicing Ballarat and the surrounding areas for over ten years.


Over recent years we have succeeded in forming an outstanding group of dedicated personnel who collectively have over 90 years’ experience in the civil and transport industries, and they are committed to our stringent environmental and occupational health and safety procedures. Established in 2012 by Graeme and Jennifer Butson, our business had already been servicing Ballarat and the surrounding areas for over 10 years as the retail outlet known as Buninyong Sand and Soil. The decision was made to concentrate on what was already becoming the main operation of the company. Our response to the increasing demands for civil construction, excavation, and transport led to the creation of Ballarat Excavation & Transport.
